UREMOTE / HELP & INFORMATION

Terms of use

The terms for using uRemote, Pro access and support.

Effective date: October 5, 2026

About these terms

These terms cover the uRemote mobile app and this website, provided by Grzegorz Gaworowski (GGMobile). Contact commonlistapp@gmail.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms to the extent an agreement can be formed under applicable law. Use requires the legal capacity and permissions appropriate to your use and any purchase.

What uRemote provides

uRemote provides local-network TV controls. Free access covers one TV and 5 minutes a day; Pro removes both limits. Its 13 remote-protocol families remain beta; physical model compatibility has not been verified. Functions depend on the TV system, firmware, permissions and adapter. Read Support for the specific scope and exclusions before purchasing. A purchase does not make an unsupported device compatible.

The app does not select, play or send local media files on iOS or Android and does not offer background media playback. The app does not provide a full Apple TV remote, universal wake-up, infrared, control from outside your network or its own screen-broadcasting engine.

No streaming content or subscriptions are included. Use only media you have the right to play and share. uRemote is independent of TV manufacturers, Apple, Google and TV-content providers; their marks belong to their owners. Store availability and future integrations are not promised by this website.

Using the app

Use the app only with devices and networks you own or have permission to control. You are responsible for the commands you choose, including power, volume, navigation and text entry. Keep pairing credentials private. Do not use the service unlawfully, interfere with it, access other people’s devices without permission or distribute malicious code.

You may stop using the app and remove saved pairings at any time. Device backups and secure storage have separate retention behaviour. Our software, branding and website materials remain subject to their applicable intellectual-property and third-party licence terms; mandatory rights permitted by law remain unaffected.

Free access and Pro purchases

Use one selected TV free for a shared 5 minutes per local calendar day. Supported buttons, gestures, keyboard, favorites and TV apps are included within that allowance. Time counts while the app is active in the foreground, connected to a TV and showing the remote or TV apps screen. Searching, pairing, Settings and time in the background do not count. After the limit, controls pause until the next day, while the device list, Settings and purchase options remain available. Pro removes the one-TV and daily time limits through a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase. If Pro expires, saved TVs and pairings remain; free access returns to one selected TV and the daily allowance. Cancellation, pending payment or a store error does not activate Pro or remove the remaining free allowance. Store offers show the price, billing period and any eligible trial before purchase. This website does not establish prices.

Apple App Store or Google Play processes payment, and RevenueCat helps verify purchases and restore eligible access. Store terms also apply. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled through the store by the deadline it specifies. If an eligible trial is offered, it changes to the displayed paid subscription unless cancelled in time. Review the store’s confirmation carefully.

Manage or cancel through Apple or Google Play. Uninstalling uRemote, clearing data, disabling analytics or emailing support does not by itself cancel a subscription. Use Restore purchases with the original store account for eligible access. Purchases do not automatically transfer between platforms.

A one-time purchase, if offered, has the scope shown when it is purchased. It does not automatically include separately offered future services. Refunds, withdrawal rights and remedies are subject to applicable law and store rules; these terms do not impose a blanket no-refund policy.

Availability and support

We may update the app to improve reliability, compatibility or security. Keep the app and operating system up to date. TV firmware, network changes or third-party service availability may affect functionality. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, or compatibility with every TV.

Where a change affects paid access, applicable notice duties and consumer remedies remain available. For help, see Support or email commonlistapp@gmail.com. Include the device and app version and a short problem description; avoid sending credentials or full payment information.

Privacy

The privacy policy explains local pairing data, RevenueCat purchase checks, optional analytics and crash reports, hosting and your choices. Optional reporting is not required to use TV controls. Your TV manufacturer, operating system and store may separately process information under their own terms.

Your rights and changes

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties or legal remedies. You retain the protections and access to competent courts provided by applicable law. Your responsibility for chosen TV commands does not remove our responsibility for defects or unlawful conduct.

We may revise these terms as the service or law changes. The effective date identifies this version. We will provide notice where required, and changes will not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining terms apply to the extent permitted by law.
